Thanks for the link, Beth. That article makes a couple of good points about how this season has gone so far, but I just don't see the evidence that Idol is losing its grip on the public. Ratings are still good, people are talking about it, records are being sold, etc. The writer sounds to me like someone who hates the show and hopes it will fail. Ok, but that's just one person's slightly overheated opinion.
